Do I have to take my computer somewhere?
No! That's the best part. Because our service is remote, you don't need to go anywhere, don't need to take your computer anywhere, and don't need to leave it anywhere.
Do I have to wait near the computer while you work?
No. Once you allow our tech to connect, you are free to go. They will keep working until it's done. Of course, you are also welcome to stay if you prefer - it is entirely up to you.
Do I need to set up things on the new computer or install programs on it?
No. All you need is to get it online, so that our tech can connect to it.
What if I'm not good with computers?
No problem - that's what our techs are there for! They've done thousands of these transfers, and know exactly what to do, so that you don't have to.
What if my old computer won't turn on?
That's still ok. If you can get its drive out and connect it to the new computer (we'll guide you how), we can transfer directly off the drive, and still have your programs, profiles and all files right there!
What do you not cover?
We do not transfer antiviruses, and system tools like scanners or printers. Those are system specific, and your vendor will want you to install those "fresh" on the new computer.
Can I talk to the tech before / during the remote service?
Of course. You can talk on the phone, via live chat or via email - whatever option you prefer.
